AIFT organised educational industrial visit to , Unnao a leading name in textile and garment manufacturing for THE students BFAD (Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design), TD (Textile Design) and FDGT (Fashion Design and Garment Technology) This educational tour was carefully organized and effectively led by Assistant Professor Ms. Pooja Vishwakarma and Mr. Amar Srivastava, whose efforts ensured a smooth and meaningful experience for our students.
During the visit, students got a hands-on look at the entire textile manufacturing process—from spinning yarn and weaving to dyeing and fabric processing, as well as designing, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packaging finished garments.
They took a close look at every stage of production and saw how raw materials become finished fashion products that end up in stores.
This real-world experience not only improved their understanding of industrial machinery and workflow but also deepened their appreciation for the complexity and precision involved in large-scale textile operations.
Such visits are an essential part of our mission to combine academic learning with industry experience, giving our students the skills and confidence to thrive in the ever-changing world of fashion and textiles.
