AITM, Hosts AICTE–ATAL FDP on “Zero Trust Cloud Security

AITM, Axis Colleges Hosts AICTE–ATAL FDP on “Zero Trust Cloud Security”The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, AITM, Axis Colleges, successfully conducted a six-day AICTE–ATAL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Zero Trust Cloud Security” from 12th to 17th January 2026, reaffirming its strong commitment to academic excellence, research-driven innovation, and industry-aligned learning.

The programme marked another significant milestone in the department’s continuous efforts to equip educators with future-ready technological competencies.Conceived as a forward-looking and impactful academic initiative, the FDP was designed to empower faculty members with advanced cybersecurity knowledge essential for today’s rapidly evolving, cloud-centric digital ecosystem.

With organizations worldwide increasingly migrating to cloud platforms, the need for robust and adaptive security frameworks has become paramount. In this context, the programme focused on the Zero Trust security model, which emphasizes “never trust, always verify” as a core principle for safeguarding modern digital infrastructures.

The FDP offered a carefully curated curriculum that balanced in-depth theoretical foundations with hands-on laboratory sessions. Participants gained practical exposure to designing, implementing, and managing Zero Trust security architectures in cloud environments.

The sessions covered critical aspects such as identity and access management, secure cloud deployment strategies, threat detection, policy enforcement, and compliance with global cybersecurity standards. This integrated approach enabled participants not only to understand the conceptual framework of Zero Trust but also to translate it into real-world applications.

Eminent resource persons from academia and industry shared their expertise, insights, and real-time case studies, enriching the learning experience and fostering meaningful academic–industry interaction.

The programme also provided a collaborative platform for faculty members from various institutions to exchange ideas, discuss emerging challenges in cloud security, and explore innovative teaching and research opportunities in the cybersecurity domain.

The FDP significantly contributed to strengthening secure cloud adoption practices and aligning teaching methodologies with evolving industry requirements and global security benchmarks.

It is expected to have a lasting impact on curriculum enrichment, research initiatives, and the overall quality of technical education delivered by participating faculty members.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, AITM, Axis Colleges, extends its heartfelt gratitude to the AICTE–ATAL Academy, distinguished resource persons, coordinators, industry partners, and all participants for their invaluable guidance, collaboration, and support. Their collective efforts ensured the successful execution of this FDP, making it a meaningful, insightful, and impactful academic endeavor.
