Axis Colleges Student Shines at Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2025
Axis Colleges, Kanpur, has added another prestigious milestone to its academic journey as one of its student’s secured second position among the top five teams out of 2,500+ global participants at the Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2025, jointly organized by IIT Bombay and Hult Prize India.
This remarkable achievement places Axis Colleges on the national and global map, making it the only college from Kanpur to attain such recognition at the event.
The achievement was secured by Uday Mishra, a third-year B.Tech (Information Technology) student, who demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial vision, innovation, and leadership during the highly competitive bootcamp.
Notably, Uday missed the first position by a narrow margin of just 0.5 marks, underscoring the intensity of the competition and the high caliber of his performance.
This success reflects the consistent guidance and mentorship provided by the Sand Tank Startup Foundation (STSF), the dedicated incubation and innovation hub at Axis Colleges.
STSF has been instrumental in nurturing entrepreneurial talent on campus by motivating students to participate in national and international platforms, offering structured mentoring, and fostering a strong startup ecosystem.
Inspired by this achievement, a growing number of students are now aspiring to become job creators rather than job seekers.
Recently, STSF invited applications for its new incubation cohort, and the overwhelming response from students highlights the rising entrepreneurial culture within the campus.
