CSE/IT Faculty Members Attend Prestigious National Conference on Virtual Labs at IIT Kanpur The Department of Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology (CSE/IT) is proud to announce that three of its esteemed faculty members — Ms. Sonali Singh, Ms. Shikha Verma, and Dr. Priyanka Gupta — have successfully participated in the National Conference on Virtual Labs, held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur on May 2–3, 2025.

The two-day national-level conference brought together educators, researchers, and technologists from premier institutions across the country to discuss the future of virtual laboratories in higher education.

It provided a comprehensive platform for showcasing technological innovations, research initiatives, and academic strategies aimed at integrating virtual labs into mainstream pedagogy.

Throughout the conference, participants attended expert-led sessions, live demonstrations, technical talks, and panel discussions that covered a wide spectrum of topics — including simulation-based learning, remote experimentation, scalable lab infrastructure, and the pedagogical impact of virtual labs in engineering and science education.

In addition to academic enrichment, the conference offered excellent opportunities for professional networking.

The faculty members interacted with peers from various institutes, exchanged ideas on curriculum innovation, and explored possibilities for collaborative research and training initiatives.

Their participation in this prestigious event reflects the department’s commitment to academic excellence and the continuous professional development of its faculty members.

The knowledge and insights gained from the conference are expected to directly benefit students by enhancing the effectiveness of lab-based learning and expanding access to quality technical education.

The department congratulates Ms. Singh, Ms. Verma, and Dr. Gupta on their successful participation and looks forward to the implementation of new ideas and technologies inspired by their experience at IIT Kanpur.
