Proud Announcement – Student Startup “Arohanaa” from Axis Colleges Management Department
We are incredibly excited to announce that two of our skilled students, Mahak Singh and Divyansh Gupta from the Department of Management at Axis Colleges, have commenced an inspiring entrepreneurial venture with their innovative startup, “Arohanaa.
“Arohanaa is a distinctive and significant initiative focused on restoring and advocating for the traditional craft of pottery.
The startup is founded with an idea of establishing a platform that helps local pottery artisans by providing them with improved visibility, opportunities, and access to a broader market.
By showcasing the sustainable and aesthetic benefits of handcrafted pottery products, Mahak and Divyansh striving to raise awareness about eco-friendly living and cultural heritage thereby promoting sustainable development for these traditional industries as well.”
Pottery is the skill and craft of moulding and firing clay to produce functional and decorative items. It serves as a versatile medium utilized for various purposes, from storing food and water to conveying cultural traditions – “deeply rooted in the legacy of Indian culture.”
The process encompasses shaping clay into desired forms, frequently utilizing a wheel or hand-building methods, and subsequently firing it in a kiln at high temperatures to solidify the clay.

At Axis Colleges, we actively promote innovation and entrepreneurship among our students.
